Terms of Service — Dopa Blastoff

1. Acceptance of these Terms

Dopa Blastoff (“the Game,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Jeckl Development Concepts LLC, located in Texas, United States. By accessing or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

2. The Game

Dopa Blastoff is a free, skill-based arcade game in which you pilot a ship through obstacles to score points. The Game is provided for entertainment only. The Game is not gambling and offers no real-money prizes, wagering, or cash rewards of any kind. In-game items, points, “DOPA Cores,” scores, and rewards have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or withdrawn for real money.

3. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you must have a parent or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; see our Privacy Policy.

4. Accounts (optional)

You may play without an account. You may optionally create an account to save and sync your scores across devices and appear on leaderboards. If you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information (a display name, email, and password).
  • Keep your password confidential and be responsible for activity under your account.
  • Notify us of any unauthorized use.

Your display name is public on leaderboards. Do not use a display name that is offensive, infringing, impersonating, or unlawful; we may remove or change names that violate these Terms.

5. Virtual items and purchases

The Game may offer optional purchases, including virtual currency (“DOPA Cores”), cosmetic items, a subscription (“Season Pass”), and an ad-removal option.

  • All virtual items and currency are licensed to you for personal use within the Game; you do not own them, and they have no real-world value.
  • Purchases are processed by our payment provider(s) and/or the applicable app store. Prices are shown before purchase.
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or the applicable app store's policies. Refund requests for app-store purchases are handled under that store's rules.
  • Subscriptions (if offered) renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel through your payment method or app-store account.
  • We may change, suspend, or discontinue virtual items, prices, or features at any time.

6. Advertising

The Game may display advertisements, including optional “rewarded” ads you choose to watch in exchange for in-game benefits. Ads are served by third-party ad networks that may collect certain data as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: cheat, exploit bugs, use bots/automation, manipulate scores or leaderboards, reverse-engineer or tamper with the Game, disrupt its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may reset scores, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Leaderboards and user content

Scores and display names you submit may be shown publicly on leaderboards and in shareable content. By submitting them, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use them for operating and promoting the Game.

9. Intellectual property

The Game, including its design, code, graphics, audio, and branding, is owned by Jeckl Development Concepts LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to play the Game. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works except as allowed by law.

10. Disclaimers

THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores/data will never be lost. You play at your own discretion.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Jeckl Development Concepts LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, SCORES, OR VIRTUAL ITEMS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GAME. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game will not exceed the amount of any unused subscription fees you paid in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to the Game and Terms

We may update the Game or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-Game notice. Continued play after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop playing at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access or account for violation of these Terms or for any lawful reason. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

14. Governing law, disputes, and class action waiver

i. These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

ii. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this agreement, including its formation, breach, termination, or validity, shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Venue: the place of arbitration shall be New Braunfels, Texas. Proceedings: the arbitration shall be conducted before a single neutral arbitrator, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.

iii. Class Action Waiver: You agree that any claims will be brought only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
