Privacy Policy — Dopa Blastoff
Last updated: June 21, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Jeckl Development Concepts LLC, the operator of Dopa Blastoff (the “Game”), collects, uses, and shares information.
2. Playing without an account
You can play the Game without creating an account. When you play anonymously, we store certain data locally on your device (such as your high score, settings, virtual currency balance, and progress) so the Game works. We may also assign an anonymous device identifier to support leaderboards and prevent abuse.
3. Information we collect
a) Information you provide
- Display name (shown publicly on leaderboards)
- Email address
- Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form — we never store it in plain text)
b) Information collected automatically when you play:
- Gameplay data: scores, runs, progress, in-game currency, achievements
- An anonymous device/player identifier
- Basic technical data: device type, operating system, browser, approximate region/country (derived from IP), and general usage/analytics
- Crash and performance data (where applicable)
c) Information from third-party services:
- Advertising: our ad partners may collect device identifiers, ad-interaction data, and similar information to serve and measure ads. They operate under their own privacy policies.
- Analytics: We may use Google analytics tools to collect usage data and to improve the game experience.
- Payments: purchases are processed by Stripe (web) and the Apple App Store / Google Play (native app). We do not receive or store your full payment card details; the payment processor handles those under its own policy.
- Sign-in providers: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive limited profile information (such as your email) as permitted by that provider and your settings.
4. How we use information
- To run, maintain, and improve the Game
- To save and sync your scores and progress (if you have an account)
- To operate leaderboards and display your chosen display name
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests
- To serve and measure advertising
- To process purchases and manage subscriptions
- To detect, prevent, and address cheating, fraud, abuse, and security issues
- To comply with legal obligations
5. Applicable law & user consent
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our Terms (to run the Game and your account); your consent (e.g., for certain advertising/analytics where required); and our legitimate interests (e.g., improving the Game, preventing abuse). By playing Dopa Blastoff you consent to the terms and privacy practices contained herein.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Game (hosting, analytics, ads, payments, authentication) under contracts that limit their use of it
- Ad networks, as described above, to serve and measure ads
- Authorities or others when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- In a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of certain advertising/data sharing.
- Account data: you can view/update your display name, email, and password in Settings, or request deletion by contacting the Support Team.
- Local data: you can clear locally stored game data via your device/browser settings (this may erase your local progress).
- Advertising: you can manage ad personalization through your device settings and the ad networks' opt-out tools.
8. Children's privacy
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact the Support Team and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Game, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period unless we must keep it longer for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Anonymous and aggregated data may be retained longer.
10. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encryption in transit and hashed passwords) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide an in-Game notice where appropriate. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
13. Contact
For inquiries or privacy/data requests, please reach out to the Support Team.
